Question aimed at those who are currently using their iPhone 4's in an Exchange (2007) environment.
Basically since the introduction of iOS4 and the iPhone 4, I've been reading and hearing about a number of pretty big issues surrounding use in an EAS environment. The company I'm now working...
Not top 10, but VCP is there.
I have MCSA/MCSE, MCTS/MCP, A+. Looking to get my VCP and CCNA done by this time next year. Still not completely sure which market I'd like to consult in, need to get my game plan together.
Oh and Magic, my thread earlier in the year... you were wrong (and so was...
Well from a performance/service POV I can recommend Vodafone. Have done numerous speed tests with O2/Voda side by side and the Voda will pretty much always trump O2 by some margin. I think O2's network is getting pretty saturated these days with all the iPhones latched on to it (especially in...
Cancel your holidays and plans for the next 6 months, get yourself some self-help guides to managing stress and be prepared to hate on users. Personally I'd avoid, but it depends on what scale you're talking I guess.
If possible leave your current system in place until you are absolutely...
I'm on Voda SIM only, 600 mins, unlimited text, 500mb data at £20 a month. However I'll be moving myself and my GF to Tesco, SIM only 500 mins, umlimited text/data for £15 (they also do 750 mins for £20), they pigyback on O2 as I'm sure you know. All are 30 day.
Mitel are worth a look, nicer consoles than the Cisco (last year) though still require some time to adjust to. We went through Alternative Networks - fking useless!
P.S And cheaper too.
Ok, so I guess my choice is:
Panny G20 - 42" - £800
LG 590 - 50" - £700
I'm edging toward the Panny simply because I'm viewing it from around 8ft away, dare I say it, but I'm thinking a 50" would be too big. Ideally I'd not be looking for a replacement in the next 3-5 years, and in that time I...
Nice, appreciate a second opinion on it. Particularly the SD images, Freeview HD and maybe PS3/360 :)
What did you pay for it, and what retailer? If you don't mind my asking!
Different proposition altogether.

Will stick to what I know is good, will check out the Sammy, but prefer the blacks and SD pictures on Plasma, much kinder, given 80% of what I watch is still SD.
Was looking at upgrading the TV from my 37" to a 42". Been hovering over the buy button on a Panny Viera P42G20B, which according to all reports is a great TV. However, if anybody has any recommendation over others in the same price range I'm all ears.
Pretty much covered it, but it's more than likely some rogue BHO (Browser Helper Object) is installed and running within IE. My first port of call would be to check what's loaded via Tools>Manage Addons>Enable/Disable Addons disable anything that looks suspect, including Java.
Quickest way of...
After you change the key, are you rechecking before assuming it's being overwritten?
Are you making the changes as Admin or User?
Have you tried changing the permissions on the key (remove user rights to modify?)?
Tried changing the file to read-only after you fixed it (the .htt)?
You sure...
Was going to buy the PL-50, but was also thinking of the Klipsch Image S4's.
My Shure SE210 have broken (again), sick of them, and Shure's crappy support. My E3C's (£110) broke after like 10 months too, got a replacement in the SE210's and they've broken (frayed wire, glue melted and sheath...
Chris/Iain, I work as a contractor for a big big organisation, which sadly means I have very little input into security/administration. Actually, we don't even have permissions or access to most of the infrastructure - that's all dealt with in America by the security/av teams. Even though I can...
Just a heads up...
Our network has been infected by W32.Changeup (lots and lots of new variants around), which managed to sneak past Symantec Endpoint Protection, according to Symantec they're patched it into yesterdays last definition, but, there's still a number of variants unpatched.
The...
Right, so I picked it up with both hands (silly me) and tried to type as I would on an iPhone, or laptop... what I should have been doing was balancing it one hand whilst typing with a single digit on my other hand? Cracking device this!
The device is bigger than my iPhone and not hugely...
I demo'd one yesterday with the Mrs at the Sony Centre (Bolt/NFL/G-Force/Wipeout HD). I thought it was impressive for things that had a large depth of field but utterly pointless on other media. Would like to watch Planet Earth on one, but for me it'd be something I'd use 1/30 times, which...
Played with one of these yesterday, what a load of shite.
I actually felt sorry for the people who bought the gen1, the second is bound to get the Retina display, and the larger RAM of the new iP4. But seriously, how awkward is the thing, you can't type with both thumbs, period, plus holding it...
Who gives a flying fk if it fixes it? If that's the case they need to be bundling them with the iPhone, not charging £25 for something they get made in China for 99p!
Just compounds the fact they're handling this debaccle very, very badly!
Hi
It's still a load of sh*t, I mean look at the speedtest results for WIFI on the link that was just posted.
I used my mates at the weekend, screen is immense, speed is immense, signal issues are dire. Will I get one if they don't fix it? Probably not.
