You can then start to increase grip by the following.
1. Fitting wider tyres
2. Decreasing tyre pressure
3. Adjust weight distribution in the car
4. Adjusting brake bias
If anyone has a broken Valver/WIlliams gearbox let me know as I said I would do a favour for BB and get hold of one as they are going to get one of their gearbox specialist to do some work on it and maybe help people with the Clio Turbo to run more than 250bhp through the standard box.

82 x 83.5 mm Valver (Square Engine)
82.7 x 93 mm Williams (Over Square)
So the williams has been bored out slightly still wouldnt account for much weight.
If it is the pin snapped I wouldnt get a used one as it is a stress point.
There are 4 parts to the gearbox mounting.
1. The lower bracket.
2. The upper bracket.
3. The connection pin
4. The rubber mount itself.
If the pin has snapped then may have to dill out the old bolt from...
The one on the passenger side not the one on the back of the gearbox ?
If so I had a quick look this weekend and this is fairly easy to do.. I snapped mine a few weeks back and havent had time to do this but I am doing it this weekend. About an hours job it that.

You can press them in yourself but I would advise you getting them done at somewhere like BB performance

The dog bone mount is around £25
The passenger side gearbox mount is £36 inv vat from reno
The drivers side is about £60 depending on where you go.
Front wheel bearing is about £25 each you need to for front as you just dont change one side...
