Yerr Turbos arent cheating they are just increasing the amount of air being forced into the cylinder, whats cheating about that, someone used thier noodle to increase engine efficency.

The best way to put it is the fact the Non diet 172 has to spin up the aircon even if its not switched where as the cup doesnt, I would be very interested in seeing the difference between a cup with aircon and the non diet 172 though.

Feck me Tony where you been hiding mate ? Long time no see ? All the larger fan would do would cool the car down quicker and not make it run cooler. Run a low temp stat/fan switch will reduce the running temp down.

Where cause I aint seen one on mine ?

Just go for a low temp stat and low temp fan switch ... if you really want to cool things down go for an oil cooler as well.
