and it made no difference?
could possibly be a problem if it is feeding enough fuel through, but how long has it been like that and was it still connected fine even though not securely?
yeah it will be cheaper if you do it separately, you buy your space and create a domain called lukebroad.net with your admin panel. Then you go to a registrar such as 123-reg.co.uk or 1&1.co.uk and buy your name lukebroad.net, once purchased you then point that name to your server with your...
depends what sort of spec you want really, i wouldn't mind climate control but the engine bay is pretty tight as it is so another thing in there would put me off! I would love to have an electric sunroof the manual ones may as well not be there, they open about an inch! auto lights and wipers i...
I have not driven a 1.4 petrol but it will feel faster day to day driving as with the petrol you will have to rev the arse off it to get it to move anywhere. if you mapped the dci80 it would wipe the floor with a 1.4 you will be most likely beat 1.6's too.
you don't need to uprate the...
country roads would be friggin awesome! midrange torque would make it feel real quick, i love coming off roundabouts and booting it! I've never driven an 1*2 but martin has driven both and says his dci handles more like a 1*2 than a 1.2. there is a heavy feel to the steering and they have good...
I ain't biased my friend, choice is up to you, we just state the facts. if you want a higher revving engine go for the petrol but if you want an all rounder with lots of potential go for the dci :)
oh and the clutch should be fine as long as its treated with respect.
I have one fitted by that guy, drives a black astra iirc? first problems arose when he didn't screw down the earth properly so it the current moved onto the next control box and set all the wipers off and stuff when i went to open the car!
Had some immoboliser problems with it too, not...
Need the part number for a glowplug relay on a 1.5 dci. if you need a reg use na53 fbf.
I need it so i can match it up so i know which one it is.
any help appreciated!
Well update:
I went down to gsf today and they didn't sell the main relays so i went down to renault showed him mine, and he came out with a new style one that had an extra pin, I looked in the bay and there was a hole for an extra pin but no metal contact so it would have been a waste of time...
Well i fitted the new sensor and it did it again, the thing thats weird is the fact that it starts fine every time but when it cuts out it is random, could be 1 minute or 20 minutes. I got my brother to play around with the loom and the sensor to see if it would cut out once its been moved or...
Went down today after them saying they were in stock. asked the parts man and the person who i was on the phone to misheard me and thought i said cam sensor! useless and yeah they didn't have in stock so i got them to order one in. I went to gsf earlier and got one for £19, the connector is...
did renault upgrade the connectors on all models including dci's? going to renault in abit and i dont want them to sell me the old one if theres a new type.
sorry to hijack the thread
LOL that was me, tdc sensor is f**ked and engine cut out at 70mph! couldn't get it on the trailer ramps as its too low so had to use a tow bar. i had to sit in it for 20 miles steering the damn thing lol
i was waiting for a spotted thread, saw a few turning heads from 1*2's
On the motorway today the engine cut out, revs dropped straight away and had no power. So pulled over, looked in the bay couldnt see anything, started it back up, fired up fine but after running for 2 mins it died again. got RAC out and got the computer on it, main suspect is crankshaft sensor...
