Cheers, i think i was lucky most definately, glad i didn't buy it privately! I hope its properley fixed before someone else ends up with it. Just needs rear axle i guess!
It certainly made right hand corners 'interesting' to say the least, especially in the wet!

I'd go silver for the wheels, black looks too chav.
Still wondering how they took it, to help the rest of us really. I'm guessing it either never got started or they had another set of keys...In which case they still have them!

So far so good, love the handling. I've come from a mapped S3 which was faster but heavy and boring on the limit. Before that an E46 M3 which was awesome, but then i...
Got myself another 172 (had the first for 2 days!).
The previous one had been in a smash and had a bent rear axle, handled terribly. I knew something was wrong on the way home so went to get tracking checked to find NS rear toe of -10!! Not adjustable so rang dealer and returned it. Plus it...

Thanks

I put 215's on my civic (std are 205's) which made it grip more but the lower profile made it ride alot worse. I ran...
Hi all. Not yet a clio owner but looking at getting a 172 ph2 as a run about since they can be had so cheap (circa 2.5k)
Currently own an Audi S3 but going to be selling it to relieve some cash as i'm getting married.
Owned numerous performance cars:
