Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
It was hidden well if it was. I'd have nightmares about cabling like that :( OCD would go onto overdrive.
Fuel pump was what I was thinking. Seals may not like it
I'm supposed to be doing cadwell on Sunday, but as the car isn't right I'm not bothering. Just waiting on ET to get back to me, and if they let me transfer it, you can take my place.
The car has been having issues of late. It won't fire, unless you either rock it in gear (although this isn't enough now), or bump it. If it doesn't fire while bump starting, I can then turn the key and it cranks. So I figure it must be the starter. Spent yesterday removing it (fun job :(), but...

Impressive. Fare bit of dollar involved in that i'd imagine. I'm always tempted, but i'd rather do a trailer job like James, just in case there is a problem and you end up stranded.

Nice write up James. I didn't realise the BTM zorst was like that. I could have sworn the yozza had a side mounted rear silencer :S Or is that a Fred creation
With the starter issues you guys had, which way did you find easiest to remove it? I'm thinking from above/below, but the manual says via the wheel arch?
There is a decent cracked version of light rooms on the net at the mo. if you get more into it that is. Photoshop is a little more complicated to use IMO
Not a downside mate, but a cost that isn't necessarily required on standard throttle. Mine ran fine, except at very low revs, but that shouldn't be an issue for pete
Faster, more torque, bullet proof. Plus it doesn't need aftermarket ecu. Enough said ;) only downside is running on super unleaded. It depends what cams you run though as if you decided to upgrade to itb's later, the cams might not be as beneficial as on single throttle.
I think I need to pop over to see yours at some point mate. Would be goo to have a chat about 'issues'. Wish I could come oulton this weekend, but I'm busy.
