Normal S3 only just pulls away from my 172, cup has a better bhp/weight than an S3 so there cant be that much in it, but a moded S3 would in my opinion leave all current clios including the V6.
New shape Clio V6 - for the track
New 900bhp+ MG - for fun
Zonda - for weekends
Vanquish - for work
BMW X5 - when you are going to park somewhere where you would rather not and for taking girlfriend back and forth to Uni.
Not been to my local in Northampton lately, but EVO magazine hated them when they took their clios there on several occasions so I dont hold out much hope on them being any good. As Peterborough is only 30 miles away I may go there instead.
I agree with matt4478 very nice car best so far. Your Impreza would turn my head faster than a TT, as I see a TT everyday (neighbour has a new one every 3 - 6 months) plus many more on the way to work. Value for money wise they are unbeatable.
Same thing happened to me on Saturday, lost one ball, so I pulled the fuse so I didnt loose the other one. Havent contacted the dealer yet but will stress that it is a design fault and needs to be fixed it cant be that difficult for them.
MK2 just because I think it has one of the best fronts on any car around today, and overall looks like a better car. MK1 is still an excellent car, I just prefer the MK2, also has a better rear end which is what most people see anyway. ;)
Thanks for you help on this, still recon it is low to send a ticket through the post three months after the supposed offence, which in my friends oppinion never happend.
As for being at the place on that date she works on that street so would have been there but always parks in the designated...

Ben H - What evidence do you have that cars that are thrashed from day one are faster, when the power stats of Clios varies so much anyway? I looked after mine (well mostly) for the first 625 miles and my car has managed to see off CTR, Skoda RS, Audi S3, Many BMWs, Cooper S, MG ZR 160, to name...
A friend of mine just received a parking ticket through the post for £60, the supposed offence took place in October. Should she contest this, as she is positive that she never parked on double yellow lines, ever and never had a ticket on her window screen? She does park near there as she works...

150bhp TT - get a 172, CTR or another car, the current 180 TT is not very good performance wise so the 150 will be terrible, only good TT is the 225.
Realy depends on whether you want performance or looks.

1 - Mine were crap until I got the sensitivity correct now they work perfectly.
2 - Clio 172 wasnt really designed for passengers or large loads, personally on the very rare occassions that I do have 2-3 passengers I put the headrests up first then put them down again later, not really that...

Same stats as a normal 172, slightly slower to 100 but tops out at 146. Looks very good up close, had a look around one at a Seat stand at a show. Nice but was too big for my current needs.
Definately a very nice car, but in black not yellow.

Yes.
I have always loved Hondas, excellent engins and good workmanship, on TV the CTR looks bad, in real life, up close I think it looks pretty good from most angles (not quite as good as a 172).
I was actually quite close to buying one but went for a 172 as it is cheaper and just as quick...
Good going.
Personally I like the saxo VTS, but they do tend to be driven by motorsport idiots a lot of the time, but are an excellent car for the money, interior is a bit out-of-date though.
