DOH I have took all the handles off my 16v and both door locks whilst it has been off the road for 8 week and the test run out 7 week ago so i am gonna test it then if it fails for that just get a Special £45 MOT Cert.

MINE DID THAT FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS THEN THE CABLE SNAPPED WAS RUBBING ON THE GEARBOX END CHEAP CABLE BUT WAS AN ABSOLUTE ARSE TO FIT.

I luckily got old of a full engine for £300 by fluke bought it has a 1.8 then got it home cleaned it up and noticed it said F7R on the engine plate cost me about £200 for timing belt clutch gaskets and fluidstook two days to drop in. Really easy to do when you understand how.
