every day - some days to do 100 miles a day, sometimes to do 200 miles a day, sometimes to do 25 miles a day, but it is my everyday car - hubby only gets to drive it occasionally in the week (hes got it today) and weekends !!!

ours does a lot of motorway miles, so it is inevitable that it will get a lot of stone chips, unfortunately - but my Mk1 172 was the worst for fog lights - had about 4 in 12 months !!!

use Optimax where available, otherwise other "premium" grades (which are generally 97 RON rather than 98 of Optimax) - need to go to Germany and fill up on their 100 RON rocket fuel though !!!

I am sure if you search on these two cars you will find a whole bunch of pros/cons/comments etc.
