black is lovely, but you are quite right when you say keeping it clean is a pain in the arse - it really is difficult to keep it clean - the back of it in this weather, where the roads are dirty, not just wet, is like a magnet for all stuff vile !!!
but having said that , there is only one...
do you do it for any manufacturer - i.e. Nokia, Motorola etc? does it make a difference which phone the cradle is for? and is it set up so that it mutes the radio when the phone rings/is used automatically?
and no-one is going to tell you anything more than you can find out by reading this forum - very few owners have any "-" points I have to say, but of course you are more than welcome to ask any questions you may have on the forum and come along to a meet!
cant believe you were out and about that close yesterday lunchtime, I was at Chandlers Ford yesterday - in the Vee !!! although you would have put ours to shame, it was filthy after driving down in that crappy weather again yesterday!

its a place just outside Hinkley that has various testing facilities - its an "industry" place if I recall correctly. Motor Industry Research ???? possibly?

mpg - I do a lot of miles in it, mostly motorway, but also drive it in London - average is 24-25mpg
there is more space than you first think - we can go away for 5 days with 2 helmets in the car...
the original Renault fit LED flashes on the instrument panel, on both our diesel and the V6 - but then the Cup had one next to the gearstick as well. The diesel only has one on the instrument panel cos it doesnt have an alarm I guess.
so the answer is - there is only one on the instrument...

I get people talking from the car next to me at lights in London - all I wanna do is floor it when the lights change, and some herbert next to me in Discover or something is talking to me ... :D
excuse me but read my post about doing over 200k miles in Renault Clios in 3 years with only one of them being off the road for 2 days - then grow up like Loony says, old is not better, we have a 16v in the garage, and compared to a 172, 182 it is horrible to drive - and we have done probably...
oh, and have dealt with 4 main dealers, again over the last 3 years, and none of them are crap - some are better than others with sales, some better with the tecky side, but none of them have been crap.
if you pay £50k+ for your car I am sure you have paid for a better customer service, but...
We have had the following Renaults:-
Silver Mk1 172 - 60+k miles; Yellow Mk1 172 - 50+k miles; 172 Cup - 20+k miles; Diesel - 65+k miles; V6 255 - 19k miles (plus Slugger had a Scenic at one stage as well, and a 1.6RSi)
and not one of them has been off the road for more than 2 days, and that...
you definitely cannot flash the lights when the auto is on, no matter how gently you pull the stalk back - however, as has been said, with the lights actually turned on with the stalk flash is exactly the same as before - the fogs dont work if the lights are on auto either!
