You quote sounds a bit high. I used confused.com and ended up with Norwich Union Direct.

Id be surprised if Elephant.co.uk didnt quote you around £900.

try virgin car insurance. I was 24 when i first insured mine, was about £958. + there monthly payments are interest free.

Be careful with elephant, they dont pay out new for old!! So if your car is under 12months old you will only get book price, as oppossed to list price new if it written off.
