I'm in need of a new cat-back for my Ph2 172, but i don't really want to spend much more than £250.00. Renault want £245 just for a OE system. I'd prefer a bit more sound than the standard one and i don't want no 4" slash cut on display:o Any recomendations?

The alloys are now finished, to lacquer them I used 2 coats of Halfords Heavy Duty PU Lacquer And fitted (not the best pic at all, only got them on yesterday) I have got some centre caps on order from Rarerims. I have also got the anthracite diamond fitted to match the wheels.

when I did mine, I removed the outer leather bit first to expose the plastic moulding and then just used mole grips to and just kept twisting it, that worked for me anyway

*UPDATE* A few changes are on the horizon, i'm currently refurbing a set of 15" Rota Torque alloy wheels in anthracite. I am also going to paint the front diamond, bullets and wing mirrors to match. Pics to follow............

since i have discounted the cd changer and replaced the fuse, i have power to the radio and clock display, need to check the other bits but it was on my lunch so didn't have chance. i'll try the battery first see if that helps.

i have put the original one back in, as i think it was the cd changer that shorted out causing the fuse to go, but it shut off radio, clocks, elec mirrors, interior lights and climate control. so the oe is back in now but i haven't connected the cd changer, which hasn't been working since i...

the red car logo with the doors open that display on the dash, it's strange that these faults have only occurred since i blew the fuse? surely this would have been a fault independent of blowing the fuse?

one long contsant beep. before i had this problem, it did ramdonly beep 3 times, but not everytime i locked it, just occasionaly. no i can't alarm it, only lock it with the car

Everytime I remote lock the car, the alarm tone beeps constantly. I blew a fuse when trying to plug in the blue plug for the cd changer, i lost all power, so i unplugged the blue plug, changed the fuse, i've got power again but the alarm still beeps, any ideas?

When i did mine i just brushed them over with a wire brush and applied 2 coats of Hammerite smooth silver
