theres also a key insert switch in the passenger foot well. not a lot of people know this cos upon first glance it cant be seen. you have to really stick ur head down the passenger well and have a look for it. Think this is the immobilisor switch?
mines also disconnected. more of a pain than...
go for it mate but see if you can knock him to 2500. Valvers hold their mileage well but check for regualr oil changes, fuel filter change etc etc. Dont see why youll have any problems with it. Proably high mileage cos he liked driving the car! dont read too much into it cos a few people on here...
same for RT yes mate. dont know bout 16cm in the doors but you can get an adaptor holdar that will allow 17cm speakers to be fitted in the rear. I dont think 16s will go in the front doors unless your prepared to grind off some of the panel.
it was in the top of the strut, full of fluid it was. positive its not power steering fluid cos theres no way of it being able to get to the strut. no fluid down the strut leg either.
got home from a 120mile road trip to manchester and was cleaning the engine bay but noticed that in the top of the suspension strut there was lots of fluid. Ive recently had avos fitted and all i can think is that there was too much hydrolice fluid in the damper??
Anything to worry bout??im...
mines sh*te too!!yippee!!
(apparently an easy job to do, adjustment of the handbrake according to the haynes manual its a one spanner rating job which means piss easy BUT its a one spanner rating for removal of the rear speakers and that was a ball ache, couldnt get at one of the screws....but...
alright mate, ive fitted an RT front splitter to my rear bumper! looks good and finishes it off nicley!!(craggys got a good rear splitter, see his motor int gallery mate!)

sitting side by side at a set of lights, saab man wanted my lane so i thought id make him challenge for it, anywayz slammed it in first and second and was easily beating him by a car length (left him for dead in first cos we both pulled off steadliy with saab man being slightly infront before i...
get them from justmatz.co.uk These are better and much much better quality mate!! (plus if your a member you can get some made up with the cliosport logo on + a discount)
depends what your going for mate, if its looks then lower it however much u want but i rekon (and especially with a valver) it will handle a lot more positivly if the rear is higher than the front. When they rolled off the production line thats how they were factory standard set up(arse higher...
your valvers probably sunk 10mm anyway so if you were going 35mm, the front wouldnt sink a great deal. when i got mine done the front had actually sunk 15mm! my advice would be lower only 35-40mm and keep the arse end slightly higher than the front to aide in handling. They do look much better...
i got one from classic additions. at 130quid is wasnt and isnt cheap but its the dogs danglies. Certainly helps maintain it looking mint and also round my way it prevents prying eyes.
yea he said he was chatting to you mate! Did u see the throttle bodies he was doing??
Dropped bout 35mm all round mate, the front isnt a great deal lower because it had sunk quite a bit anyway. i havent really had a chance to test the handling yet cos the weather is so poor round my way:(
yep, will do Daz mate!! Honestly handling seems slightly tighter(if thats the word) and i scrape my scorpion on the speed hump coming out of hillpower but other than that it looks great, im well chuffed!
had me some avo adjustables fitted but wot a top bloke he is! chatting in his garage bout this and that and throttle bodies. Valver looks a lot better now although my scorpion is scrubbing.
Recommend the bloke to anyone!
