patty,
another thing mate, although BRUN has got a damn good point there i do know Avos are recommened. What u have to remeber is that its all personal choice/opinion. I chose them cos ive done loads of research into lowering, spent months reading every thread i could to get the best idea of...
not their fault mate that the wheels were damaged. Its better they sent them back than supplied you with bent wheels.
Everytime ive been to halfords (derby) the bloke from ripspeed has been excellent. Halfords has NO complaints from me.
Understand why your angry mate but it doesnt make them...
sub in the back and components in the front is all you need really. i think as a rule of thumb 6x9s and subs shouldnt be used together. Suppose u could mount the 6x9s in your front footwells?
I think sony stuff is good, not keen on the Xplode stuff cos i dont like the colour but it will sound...
cheers mate. ive tried for a couple of days now to get the nut on but its not having any of it. it gets slightly tighter then suddenly loose and just falls off. V annoying.
i need to know how to replace the retaining bolt on the passenger seat that bolts it to the floor? I cant get the bloody nut back on the threaded bar cos i think its knackered so im going to replace the bolt, but how?
Its for a valver and the bolt is the one nearest the gear lever on the seat...
dont think u can lower a valver 80mm mate???65mm at the rear is about maximum i think although dont quote me on that. Why u wanting to lower it that much?Itll look good but i would expect the handling to be quite poor.
Coilovers; avos and leda.
pete
getting my valver lowered and was wondering whether or not to invest in a strut brace as a matter of precaution or whether being lowered on avos will render the use of a strut brace useless??
cta, pete
wot else u looked at mate? ive heard that the GAZ suspension gives a very hard ride. Depends on what setup you want really. Im getting my valver lowered on avo adjustables.
quite a bit i would of thought although not enough to notice any gains i wouldnt have thought? I took my spare wheel off my valver (to have a new tyre fitted) and cos its a steel wheel its suprising how heavy it was.
a lot!! sorting out the stereo nxt month! its gonna be an expensive couple of months but well worth it in the end!! Ill do those piccies but i cant host them
