Same happened to me when driving the works van little girl just ran out from behind a skip. Luckly I was going slow ~ 20mph but I still hit her, the worst feeling in the world, heart in the mouth. Bloodly parents were on the side of the road and should have seen her across, not let her run out...
Was that proven on a rr road though? as the noise will give a false impression of increased power.
On my old rt i tried all sorts and used to run a hillpower induction kit in the winter/ cooler months and in the hot months the modified airbox with a k&n pannel filter.
Bambams right. Also remove the hot air feed from the exhaust manifold and gut the air flap and thermostate from inside the airbox so that there are no restrictions then run a feed to the hole next to the rad and headlight (need to cut the plastic gaurd).
I had my pbv set up on a rolling road. My mods are cat back exhaust decat and modified airbox with panel filter. Once set up it gave another 3bhp and more torque ~ 3-4 ftlb from 2 - 4.5k.
I used duck tape as for it to fit over the outlet you need a 73mm or there abouts. I ve taken mine to the fog light , i am gona get the dimensions and order to ducts from DT to replace the fog lights.
you need to ditch the standard hose and get a 70mm hose from the airbox out let to the front of the car, the standard hose is to small and reduces in diameter.
