http://www.jim3872.wiredhub.org/gallery/albums/userpics/normal_clio2.jpgMine need doing as they were peeling so i removed the lacqure and they now need polishing every couple of days :s pluss the outside rims are a bit tatty.
Standard pressure for the valver is 3 bar at idle. Mine was set up on the rr at just over 3.5. Not taking the lines off again to measure:p. But around 3.5bar is what you should be looking for. But best bet is a rr set up as the engines do varry.
Just book it in for a rr set up cost me £60 for mine to be set up and to try a few air filter combinations. Gave another 3bhp + might have been more as it was already fitted.
If it where to give a nice gain then I would go for one, but at the moment the best option is the standard airbox with replacement filter and replacement air feed. The problem with the K tec viper kit is that it has no air feed, it just sits in the gap by the rad which i wouldnt be happy with.
The 1.6 16v is supposed to be a good engine, nice space for a BMC cda in the engine bay, a cat back exhaust and decat along with a uni chip etc should see them shift ~ 130bhp??
A 19.8mm increase in rolling radius with 17s. Not good IMO. Go for some 16s 195/45s and drop it 40mm. (mind you get the 17s might make us a bit more even down the strip;))
