Rob, that road where I am, well, in my shot, is Kirkstone Pass, the building is The Kirkstone Inn, a great little pub....epic road to drive....head from Ullswater to Windermere or vice versa....the Struggle is, as GeordieClio state, "The Struggle" to Ambleside.
When did you say you were up this...
Thanks mate :)
Here's one taken after a scramble up Red Screes in the Lake District for sunrise....all I got was this fleeting few seconds of light all morning.

Some fantastic shots in here. I can never get into a 52/365 personally, i'm not disciplined enough to do so. I have added a couple of you as contacts on the basis of a couple of shots in here too.
Thanks for the feedback guys...whilst I agree it's not a patch on the original (the colours made it for me, i'm a sunset shooter at heart) I still like this too.
Regarding the sky, it shouldn't be any more blurry as it's not been touched besides a touch of burning, but the blackness has...
I'm sure I commented on this shot? If not, it was one more or less exactly the same lol.
My most viewed yesterday was my jetty shot further up the page again, with 205 hits.
Thank you :o
I use a Canon 450d, and this was shot using the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6, and using a Kood ND4 filter over the whole scene, and a Hitech 0.9 ND soft edge grad over the sky.
I should read all the posts before I reply to one person haha!
As above really, the 1000d is ok as an entry level body, but that's exactly what it is, entry level. The 450d is a cracking camera, but again is pretty much entry level, but with the right glass you can get some great results. It's what I use and can't fault it. 50d is where I would start now...
I know it's in the other thread on here, but this was my most viewed yesterday with 80 hits in an hour and a half or so of uploading last night....

Thanks guys, I have to say I am really pleased with this shot.
Dan it's already on 500px, i've not used that too much as i've not felt I had a lot of work good enough for on there, but this one has had quite a few hits last night, and got me a few new followers too :)
Some great shots there Dan!
Here's one of my favourite car shots. My mates Impreza, shot for Total Impreza magazine...just a shame they didn't let me edit the shots for the mag, as their editing left the shots looking crap IMHO....

Some great pics, the light trail one is the best.
You can use the clone tool or the spot healing brush tool with content aware, both great tools in Photoshop.
Thanks....here's another couple to ponder over, both taken on Isle of Skye last May. Going up again this May and intend to make a much better job of it....
