how do large wheels adversly affect performance. bigger diameter rims with lower profile tyres and a lighter weight would increase not decrease handling

its not wheel size but tyre size thats important. you can fit 16,s 17,s 18,s and keep the radius the same as the original 185 55 15,s. you just lose some tyre wall and replace it with wheel. and just fitting wider tyres on smaller rims screws the handling as much as larger wheels.

you can stick a metal plate in rather than welding skim with filler. easy. the spraying bit not as easy. depends on your skill. lock only held in with a clip. metal plate glue easy. filler and spraying not as easy. even if you take it to a good body shop they might glue the lock over. it saves...

and you can glue a metal plate over the lock hole from the inside. this stops the boot lid from rippling due to heat. use proper body panel glue. then just skim the hole with filler.

you can get your bonnet covered in kevlar if its just for looks by reverie

why do most people think that all big bodykits are done for looks. maxi kit was designed for extra width and increased track. mine was done for both though. looks and the fact i can run 235 or 245 width tyres. these are on 18,s which has not upset the handling as they are no larger in diameter...

also look at the maxi in the clio discussion thread he cut the rear wings made them wider then let in steel plates

can fit williams three quarters but last time i checked they were 750 notes each so when i damaged mine fitted a maxi kit. two front wings two rear quarters front rear bumpers and wing all for 650 notes

anyone used these. are they suitable for road tyres

did the same on my mk1. took the plug apart drilled the top and feed quality speaker wire though the original door wiring. made a real difference but i,m running focal k2 components off a genesis four way amp so really needed to be done.

the body kit is a clio maxi works kit there are a couple of suppliers but i know of only one that does the genuine works copy from france

can fit rear straps to rear seat belt mounts under rear seats

fitted with eye bolts in the fittings points supplied by renault. you can replace the renault bolts with eye bolts and keep the seat belts in at the same time

sadev boxes are not that strong. bb are running 378 bhp and 350 ft lbs through a williams box at the moment. sadev do not warrenty their boxes at that level

pistons for up to 260 bhp are only 40 quid a set after that it gets expensive but i think between 350 and 400bhp is possible but still not 100% sure about the uprated gear box
