also depends on your diy skills. buy a bit of a wreck do some work this time next year move on and make some money. dont think house prices will crash just level off. car this time next year will be worth less house could be worth 20 grand more.
as long as they have a socket to fit on your hub .bolt to your hub and then have a spigot for your wheel to sit on then they should be fine. think that r tec do them.

but 15,s vs 17,s what size tyres. if the rolling radius is the same the speed will be the same. also ph,s1 and 2,s are heavy. 18,s light weight rims are also about the same weight. and at 300bhp the extra traction out weighs any other draw back. also thats straight line. what about the increased...
dont know really. did not notice really. wider tyres helped acceleration as i get less wheel spin. quicker every where in between and the only limit on top end is the gearbox. as i said the tyres are within 0.4% of the originals so really should be the same. i am running about 300bhp though.
they now use glues when making new cars instead of welding. you can use liquid metal to fix cracks in engine blocks. try pusning that in with a screw driver. i am not talking pitt stick or alradite but the new glues that ford use to fit the wings on there cars. welding crates heat and distortion...
yes 205 is width in mm next numbers is side wall as a percentage of width next is rim diameter in inches. running 235 30 18,s on my mk 1 16v with leda coil overs. and it handles well.
