Its very good, it seems to sound better with the factory speakers than the old one.
Lots of functions that I will never use, Its free music cos of MP3 and WMA.
The only gripe at the moment is it sticks out a bit far when its closed.

My car is going fine its done 1800 miles, apart from the car came with no 172 cup badges and the front splitter was missing. Parts are on order.
One thing that does worry me is that the car whines on start up but it goes away after a drive, do they all do this?

All I have found is that it had no front splitter, no 172 CUP badges and the boot light does not work.

I want to upgrade my speakers on my 172 Cup without moving or modifying the interor, it needs to look standard but sound good.
What are good speakers for the fronts? Some that will fit very easy with no mods?
How about the back? new shelf and 6x9s? or are there any decent spekers that fit...
You have to respect all high power RWD cars in the wet, the MR2 got a bad name from the REV1 cars after that the suspension was updated and the wheels upgraded to 15".
I had driven my MR2 through 2 winters and never had a problem you have to drive to the conditions.

The MR2 Turbo puts the power down so nice in the dry, its much different from the torque steer of the Cup.
I do prefer the cup as its easier for me as an average driver to go fast without crashing.

With All these Renault sport mods coming out you would have thought Renault ould have tested the before and after figures on a RR by now.
Has anyone found out what sort of performance increse you will get after the ECU.

I had a tusstle with an FTO GPX, it was close, but I was going steady in 3rd then he booted it up my arse so I dragged the revs from about 3k upto redline, I should of put it into 2nd gear, Live and learn!!

How much faster does your 172/cup feel after its run in?
What milage do you guys think it will develop its quoted power.
In the hand book it says you wont expect reasonable power until after 1500 miles.

Right I did 100 MPH in my Clio Cup with approx 1250 miles on it ath the RPM was bang on 4800RPM.
Looking at the other Clios RPM it seems the Clio has higher gear ratios, unless mine is Fcuked.

When I de-catted My MR2 turbo I asked them to tie wrap the car sensor away.
The cat overheat light came one after a long while but only when I was in traffic, the car ran fine so I would not worry about it. Worst gets to the worst take the bulb out of the dash.

Im after on in the Hull area (e.yorks).
The place is a dedicted tinting place so it should be good, but it feels expensive at 260 quid.
Anyone know a place?
