So how are you guys going about this?
Do you order from your local Renault garage?
Do you order from R-Sport then have your local dealer fit it?
Or can you DIY it?

8000RPM sound good to me.
On average my car gives about 35MPG, I expect it to be a little heavier on fuel but im not that botherd.
So who will get it RRd first? I would love to see some figures!

Well the new Cup ECU, do we like it or is it a load of SH*T?
I would really like to believe all the hype about this product, can someone tell me if its worth my hard earned dosh?

Went to visist relatives over in Germany this weekend.
I decided to drive there, (Hull to Heinsberg) about 500 miles.
As soon as I got on to the french roads the noise in the Cup halfed it was such a more quiet ride, those roads over there are great. Only sh*ter was I got a stone chip in my...
No key hole in drivers door?
My cup came with no badges and no front lip.
The dealer odererd these parts the badges came within a week but the front lip has just come in now about 2.5 months later, dealers says it was on back order.
Mine hits the limiter at 7250 RPM, but only when its warmed up, it has a lower limit when its not so warm. After about 15 mins of driving is gives you the full 7250 rpm. I have only tryed this in the first 3 gears though, it may have a lower limit in 4th and 5th.

I have found Dixons in Hull to be ok.
Although I wanted to change my stereo for a differnent one and they only had 1 set of tools to take the radio out and they were locked up in a cupboard, and they did not have they key, went over the road to Citoren and borowed theirs.

Well thats not too bad Craggy, the impreza was probally modded due to the dump valve.
He only passed you at 90, you have 1.6 NA he has a 2.0 4x4 Turbo. He must have thought WTF is going on here, icy wet roads he will be putting more power down than your saxo.

Was taking my bird home earlier tonight on the A63 towards Hull, over took the Audi TT and he put his foot down to make it more difficult for me so I accelerated a bit more and pulled into the left hand lane. He stayed at a safe distance behind me at speeds of about 90 MPH, we then slowed down...
I have never driven a CTR but unless I had driven all 3 cars (Cup CTR 172) I would not go on magazines stats or b**ch about my car is faster than yours.
I would maybe have a bit of a chip on my shoulder if I blasted a CTR away on the road/track, but would I know if the driver was really going...
Yeah, we will meet again on a twisty road!
However I still would like to improve the breathing at the top end.
Is there any of those ram style filters avalable like the ones for the saxo?
Scott
I am feeling the same about my Cup.
The other night on a lonely dual carage way I was driving aroung this sweeping right hander at about 80 mph in 5th, in the left hand lane was a saab 93 (dont know if turbo or not) as the road straightens he boots it and so do I (still in 5th) he is really...
I have a Cup, I have done nearly 3k miles in in and I feel the need for more power.
So is an induction kit K-tec exhaust, de-cat and maybe a chip the way to go?
I think TB would be over the top and it will mess up and fuel economy will dissapear.
Any other ideas?

i found the the exaxt oposite, i filled up with BP SUL the car felt fast then I filled up with Optimax and I was like a new car.Find a garage with a hight turnover of fuel as i think Optimax deteriates faster than SUL
