If you get a wheel from a 197 with cruise control then surely you could hook up the wiring to new buttons and they'd do exactly the same job as previously :S
AFAIK it replaces standard rubber hoses that would expand under heavy braking with braided lines that won't expand. Therefore more pressure is being applied to the brakes rather than being wasted in the expansion of the rubber lines.
Should give a firmer, sharper pedal feel and improve braking.
No its at my local Dexel garage. They wanted £108 a tyre so just told them I could get it for £90 odd fitted. Bish bash bosh they offered me £92 fitted :rasp:
Can this be done?
Had a quick search but can't find anything. This would hopefully get rid of the bus wheel, the melting problem and be a HELL of a lot better to drive with!
Any help appreciated :D
thats it yeah. Might be artic blue then, I just spotted it over the hedge as I walked past tesco. Only saw the top half of the car so can't really say if the stripes looked crap or not :rasp:. But they're generally not my cup of tea, pardon the pun.
The white LED's look fantastic, but not so struck on the blue display.
Carrmrc96 - how much would you charge to do this like yours? but just the white LED's for dials. No adjustments to needles or display. Coz I can't be bothered doing it myself and would probably screw it up!
Spotted heading into Doncaster on the new north bridge. I was going the opposite way in a AB 182. Not sure because of the guard rails, but looked lowered and with white wheels possibly.
delcbr - I posted a question in his exhaust group buy thread asking him for any decibel ratings at idle, any revs etc so we could get an idea of the volume. But not heard anythig back. Surely he must have decibel ratings ???
I'm in the same boat as you Laura, I'm after a new exhaust for my 54 182. I'm after something that sounds nice on start up, idles quietly and isn't loud when you pootling about, but sounds sporty and rasps when you cane it. I'm not after anything that sounds like it came off a 19 year old's...
The worst is the drivers wing mirror wine. The air passing though the gap where it folds makes a whistling noise. Drives me mad!! Plus my glove box rattles!
+1 on the full refund Lora.
- Can't hide behind the fact he's "not a professional". With the state of those he not even amateur. Looks like a guy who'd struggle at painting by numbers!
- Full refund required as they are useless and you have to spend £40 on new bullets and then get them painted...
Just curious if they are on here as I see them around my area - North of Doncaster - a lot.
Anyone around my area have a black 172 with an loud oblong exhaust hanging out the back. Male, 20's.
Black 182 05 plate - think this is from the kirk smeaton/little smeaton etc area. Cup packed...
