Im back home after a little travelling round the med to find my car has a big problem. Got back home car was fine after been garaged for a week. But then it started whining when I turn the steering wheel. Then later one it went mad. Now the steering whines and creaks really loud and keeps...

try dexel - ask them to beat an imaginery price of say £93.60 fitted online. They'll drop to about £92 fitted and balanced then ;)

A guy with a RB 182 parked next to me in meadowhall car park and had a quick chat. Sorry didn't catch your name but car looks good. Also spotted a arctic blue 182 heading down the a1 between barnsley and warmsworth junctions.

Parked outside the big cefco building, ten pound walk.

I had 3 washers go on my 54 182 so everytime I ran over a little bump on the road half of the heat shield would bounce around banging like mad. Very annoying! x3 new big washers fitted now, jobs a good'un!

How come your bumpers so stone chip free?!? Mines same age as yours and looks like its been pebble dashed!

Then wouldn't it have been better to say "has it been done recently as per the recommended service intervals? If not, it will need doing" instead of "its needs replacing". Ok sure, i'll give you £600 to replace something thats brand new! :mad:

Had the 182 in at an Evans Halshaw Renault garage the other week for the bonnet catch safety recall. Had to get a mate to pick me up as they wouldn't give me a hire car :mad: and waited at work for the 'its ready' phone call. Had a mate drive me in again to pick it up at lunch. All seems well...

I've been told the twingo is based on the 172 chassis so is the steering mechanics the same? If so will a twingo steering wheel fit?

Get the flat ones from aceparts on fleeBay. I have them and they are fantastic. Miles better than the crappy plastic things. Much more even and consistent contact with the windscreen, especially at speed. I won't go back!

Would you say the standard 182 front and rear speakers are good quality? I've not got the best ear for audio equipment quality but i think they are pretty punchy but lack a bit of bass and definition. The music seems a little flat to me. Was wondering if anyone would recommend something to me...

I'm considering a new exhaust for my 182. But can't decide what I like based on all the various youtube videos. You hear one on one vid and it sounds great, hear the same exhaust on another vid and it sounds crap. So i'm after seeing them for real if at all possible. Does anyone in my area...
