    Which one....?

Its a simply choice really. If you want air con, leather, xenons etc get the full fat 172 if not get the 172 cup. If you can afford it I would go for a 182 with cup packs best of both worlds IMO

www.webyanycar.com offer should i sell to them?

Agree, get it on autotrader as well its only £18 for 2 weeks and you will def get more for it than they will ever give you. Basically they are just giving you part ex price.

How Hard is it to sell a clio Privately ?

My 182 sold within 12 hours of being on autotrader. As long as you are honest and price it reasonably then it will sell no probs

    Looks: 172 or 182

to me the 172 FF just looks like a normal Clio until you get close. At least the 182 looks a bit more sportier with the twin exhaust, spoiler and bigger wheels. I think the colour range is better on the 182 as well.

    Raising the Finances

The problem with student loans is that yes the interest rate is 2.5% but you pay it back over a long period meaning higher interest payments

    SOLD

Well after 2 and a half years of ownership I sold my 182 today (only put it on autotrader last night). The couple who bought it were very nice and I hope they enjoy it as much as I have. I got £8750 for it and it was a 54 plate with 12k on the clock. There's a VX220 Turbo with my name on it...

    How Much

Making it look like a car with cup packs is fairly easy you just need a spoiler front splitter and the different coloured alloys. Still even thats not cheap and then the tough bit is the suspension which cant be fitted aftermarket by renault and Im not sure if anyone else does it. I think its...

    mk2 v6 vs 182 cup

I love these threads as the V6 owners do get ever so defensive!

    mk2 v6 vs 182 cup

Supercar??? I dont think so. it does 0-100 in over 15 secs, slightly better than hot hatch performance. If a V6255 was behind a R26 (and they are both going for it) then it isnt going to get past it now is it??

    182......anygood?

I own both and would say overall the MINI is the better car. The 182 is def faster and is far more raw, where as the MINI is a little more civilised. Also the fuel economy is crap on the MINI if you get 250 to a tank you will do well, where as the 182 should do 300-325 no probs. Worth...

    172cup or 182 with toys??

Theres no right or wrong answer. If you can live with cloth seats, no air con, no abs etc then get the cup if not then the 182 is for you. I would go for the 182 with cup packs as I think it gives the best compromise between performance, handling and toys

    good insurance companies

Elephant/Admiral/Bell (all part of the same group) have always given me cheaper quotes than most not sure if they insure in N Ireland though, also try churchill/direct line/tesco/priviledge (again same group)

    Is £8500 px ok ?

    I got offered 8k for mine (182 54 plate with 12k miles) against a 15k VX220 Turbo, so about right I guess

172/182/197 Clios and New Vxr Corsa

Well Vauxhall did make the VX220, which lets be honest would wipe the floor with the V6. I love it how people go on about the new VXR looking chavy on here, and most people on here love the looks of the V6. I know plenty of people who think the V6 looks chavy. Actually the 1st time my missus...

172/182/197 Clios and New Vxr Corsa

I would say that overall Vauxhall is a better brand than Renault. Looks are a personal thing and I actually prefer the Astra VXR to the 225 but prefer the 197 to the Corsa VXR its a bit strange really. The Corsa VXR will be faster than the 197, i think it will hit 100 in the 16's (197 high...

Is GDI £1,550 setup Value For Money?

Jesus, its worth coming on here just to read your comments. You really dont give a S**t. I like your style On topic, if you want to spend 1.5k on it then Id say go for it, yes it wont add any value to your car but if you fancy something a little different (as opposed to just buying a faster...
