What is it with 172 cup prices?

Limited Edition and 172 Cup should not be in the same sentence.

    Fuel rail guard

You're talking yourself in to removing it, so crack on.

    Fuel rail guard

It's there to protect the rail in the event of a front end smash. Strictly not needed if missing and you want to save a few quid buying one, but if fitted you may as well leave it unless you need to save the weight/ever look at your engine and think it's an eyesore.

Project Nicole - 182 Track Toy Build

A word of warning - there have been instances of the cheap Aerocatch replicas failing. Considering failure is likely to result in a repair spend, proportionally higher than the difference between the copies and genuine - I'd give it some thought before you fit them. Is that workshop susceptible...

What Was Your First Mobile Phone?

It seems many started with the Phillips C12. I remember having a faux leather case with a plastic front cover to 'protect' it. I have the same number today, that I had when I started out on an Orange bundle deal - 5 free texts per day so long as you had credit. I always wanted the latest...

    Using phone abroad.

iPhone? As mentioned turn the data and roaming off and you can click Facebook, Safari and any app to your hearts content and it won't use your data. Connect with the hotel wifi and you'll be fine. When you leave the hotel and try to refresh a webpage or whatever then it will just fail to load...

    Fitting Supplied tyres (Basingstoke)

From my experience, I'd look up your independent local tyre fitters. Drop by with the wheels and tyres in the back of your car on a Friday afternoon/Saturday morning and ask.

    I hate my mobile provider

Been with them for several years and not had any problems personally. I also get 20% off each month and the reason I chose them in the first place - the signal is good at home due to a mast 100m away. When I've spoken to customer services they have always been fine. If at any point I call them...

If you haven't already - With the wheel on and the car down on the ground, get someone to jump in and put their foot on the brake so you've got less flex.

What do you value the 1.2 at?

Self service - keeping a record of this in service book ?

On a £1500 motor, nobody is likely to bat an eyelid if you've got a folder of receipts to show the maintenance. On newer cars it puts a lot more people off, obviously.
