Well I know both the coil pack and battery on mine are new, and car struggles to start a little some times. When I had the Plenum off the car recently the HT Leads just looked old as manky, that's the only things that lead me to my suspicions, plus, they look better and I would like a set tbh :rasp:
I painted mine red, took me 7 months to remove and replace my plenum! (out of pure laziness though!)
Again.. Easy as mate, just be gentle on them bolts
Oh yeah, I can see them a mile away, but I hardly see any lol..
Number plate for the 182 wasn't J600 something was it, as above? First time I've seen that one around here!
I distinctly remember the Xenons blazing on the Clio that day lol!
I rarely see many RS Clios, when I do, they always a few the same day haha.
I shall keep an eye out for you next time and give ya a wave  Haha
Was looking at getting a set for my Ph1, found a site that does them pretty cheap compared to others, although the site had a note attached to the item which states this..
Does this mean anything to anyone?
I'm assuming Distributor less ignition systems is referring to the Clio's coil pack...
I think I have seen you before heading towards Orpington/Sidcup on North Cray RD while I'm going in the opposite direction, I put a thread up before :rasp:
I didn't see you until last minute, so didn't catch the wheels.
That traffic is dreadful! I pick the missus up from Orpington on Weds and...
1st - Spotted an Artic Blue/Monaco Blue 1*2 across Blackheath approx 8.40am.. Was lowered, had yellow diamonds and wheel centre cap diamond, look very smart..
2nd - Silver 1*2 coming into Bexley Village from North Cray Road (stuck in all the traffic) had dark wheels, not to sure what ones...
Components basically replace the OE speakers in the car (tweeters and door), and are usually a hell of a lot better sounding then 6x9. They use a crossover which basically splits treble to the tweeters and mid range to the door. bass would come from a sub and amp combo.
I would go for this...
It's handy you doing all these bits and bobs Rob, come time I need some parts replacing, I know where to come knocking ;)
Good luck with the Ball Joint dude, I'm sure you'll manage fine!
If its as bad as that the only way I can see is getting the head whipped off and getting it taken out that way.. Had this happen to my old Rover, (un)fortunatly I soon suffered the common gasket failure and had to have it sorted, got it all done at the same time.. PITA!
Sad to see it go Rob, although at the same time good to see it go, for the time you been trying to sell her. Still the new owner has one epic car there, I'm sure he will enjoy it as much as you did!
To me that sounds like something in the process of becoming seized.. Noise sounds like metal on metal..
Can you distinguish between what side its coming from, I'm guessing the side with the belts?
Possibly noise going away due to heat expanding metal and what ever is rubbing stops contact...
Did you get a decisive answer in the end? lol..
If its any help.. The pipe will fit.. The flanges on the decat would be the same size as on a standard cat, so it would fit fine..
UNLESS.. KTec have a different sized flange on their exhaust system that only matches their own decat (if you get...
Praise where its due Russ in this case! That torque curve compared to standard is extremely impressive. I could only imagine how much better it feels now.. I wished I could afford ITB's! lol.. Savings start.. NOW!
Keep up the good work fella :approve:
Russ, this is outstanding, I really can not say any more then that! The amount of work you and your helping hands have obviously put into all of this and getting the figures you achieved, I could not imagine you with out a grin extending from ear to ear.
Looking forward to seeing any more...
