I personal favourites are the Hankook V12's atm, dry grip is amazing and wet is rather impressive, although I wouldn't even risk driving like a nutter in the wet regardless of what tyres I run, WAY to risky
Thats the new iPhone OS4 wallpaper aint it.. :rasp:
Although give you your due, thats better beading then I will ever have on my car, it never gets washed, but as above, the tighter the beading the better the protection from what I understand.
Try fitting a new battery to the fob firstly? As of where the receiver is, I have no idea, but I don't think anything would help increase its distance..
Although I once saw that holding the fob to your head and pressing it helps increase its range! ;)
Dip stick is located under the fuel rail guard (kinda).. You can see it, but it can be missed.. Just look down the front of the engine (Between the radiator and engine obviously).. Where do you put it back in? Oil I assume? If you have an engine cover, there is a lid on the left (It has 16v 2.0L...
Yeah I see what your saying about wasting money on rubbish and having to buy better in the future, doing your research really does pay off!
As for pics, best bet is to get yourself a flickr account or photobucket, upload uour photos onto that and then link them into your posts using the Image...
Welcome to CS mate.. Get some pics up of the car!
On the hunt for some Coilovers myself.. Depending on what you want to spend and what you want to use them for.. Track or just looks.. Prices from £400 upto over 1k!
Ktec do their own range and a lot of great reviews for these and also V-Maxx...
Lovely car mate.. About the gearbox mount ktec did recall them iirc, something to do with the metal top hat wasn't machined correctly and the nut wouldn't tighten down pass the nyloc part. This was discusses a while back on another thread, sorry but can't remember what it was called mind
EDIT...
Dude... WTF man? I duno what to say except I hope you get that sorted!
You came off pretty lightly with that, 1 bolt holding that side of the engine up, your dicing with death.. So perhaps this was the cause of the knocking you had recently? It may have been slightly cracked for a while without...
Hey, just a quick question if anyone can recommend a decent place to buy some bits for my Ph1..
Not much for now, but looking at getting some new Magnicore leads and possibly buy some coilovers, not sure what ones yet, but possibly a website that has a selection I can look at, plus more parts...
Ahh Fair enough dude.. As for the breaking, I had something like yours, it was thudding when I was breaking at slow speed, but the sound was coming from the rear, my shocks had had it, once they was replaced it was fine.. Seeing as your on coilovers I doubt its the same..
Feeling it through the...
Whip the under tray off the bottom, chock the back wheels with some bricks, apply hand break (even though it is useless) get someone to look under (NOT go under the car) and above, then pull away slowly, should put stain on the engine and any movement should be seen, should also replicate the...
Don't go for standards in Anthracite.. Because I am next week! :rasp:
But as well as Steve, I am also interested in some pics, before I do refurbish mine.. May change my mind!
Courtesy of Adam172.. (I'm sure he don't mind)
Prorace 1.2's
And Rob (Robbos) Which I'm sure you have seen..
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Very nice mate, excellent figures to boot.
Was reading the edition of Fastcar dated May (Need to get back into getting these!) and you have one excellent build going on there..
I bet your well impressed with that...
I reckon if the GB mount has had it, its probably all part of the same issue, obviously when coming to a stop the engine would lurch forward causing the mani to hit the subframe..
Although if you give it some beans do you hear the knocking also?
TOTALLY OFF SUBJECT.. But it is to do with the screen :rasp:
Whats my options for a single dead pixel on my phone.. I'm not that fussed about it tbh, but if I could get it fixed, surely its worth a shot.. Any ideas anyone?
if its any help, Billing's is pretty big, I camped there a fair few years ago.. June is kinda high season though so I would get in touch pretty quick!
As for rates:
It would be £20 per Tent up to 4 People per night..
Yeah it will be mono fella.. but, the only phone I have ever owned that was pretty decent stereo was the N95.. I don't think the iPhone would be as great as the speakers are bottom mounted.. Just get some portable speakers mate
Bit unusual for it not to display at all? I would assume if it was broken it would show some odd figures or just 0...?
I know its no real help but this would be my understanding of it?
Sad times mate.. This car was cracking except for all the mishaps, I'm sure I'm not the only one but it will be sad to see it being broken, but all the best with selling off the parts... Any thing else planned for the future?
