I have jus bought a set off 40mm lowering springs for my 1.6. I have been quoted £150 to fit them but that seems ridiculous to me? could anybody help me and give me a guide of how to fit them myself and also what equipment i would need, ie if i need spring compressors or not? any help would be...

I will see what I can find, I would like it low but my issue is that I live down a road with speed bumps so am going to need to clear them! And also I have seen a few mods with bonnet bras....what's the overall view of them? They go down well?

Is it dear to get lowering springs fitted? And also which are the best coilovers to go for?

I like the idea of an RS grill, and just keepin it simple, you know where I can pick up an RS grill from for reasonable money? And lowering is definately next port of call, silly gap in the arches at the moment, was thinking some 40mm springs for time being and then to upgrade to coilovers??
