fitting new lowering springs?

  clio dynamique 1.6
I have jus bought a set off 40mm lowering springs for my 1.6. I have been quoted £150 to fit them but that seems ridiculous to me? could anybody help me and give me a guide of how to fit them myself and also what equipment i would need, ie if i need spring compressors or not? any help would be appreciated!

150! dont got there lol. swapped coilovers back to standard suspension on my car today, took maybe 45 minutes.

where are you ? oh and a lot of garages can come and pick your car up for you if need be, either that or drop it outside in the evening and put keys through letter box for them

I don't think specialist breakers will carry out work, however I might be wrong.

Try posting in the regional section , a member on here will give you a hand who are local to the Preston area, drop them a bit of beer money for helping and job done & saved yourself £130 :)

Christ, for £150 I'll do it, and throw in a happy ending for free ;)

I have compressors if you need to borrow. They're only a tenner or so new though.
