Mines the same mate. Granted ive only had it 4 months, ive done 6.5k miles so far. No rattles, i dont have a problem with the build quality either. I think its rather comfy.

haha Yeah, but isnt it true that you can only play a cd and use the av for about 10 miles and then you have to put the nav disk back in ?

pfft, works better. The emergency services use the VDO Dayton systems ;) You cant play a dvd/cd at the same time as the nav ! unless you get a changer. Plus its about £700 more ;)

I appreciate you taking the time mate. The TMC antenna is very similar to the GPS antenna in the bottom left hand corner of the pic, but its smaller.

Ive got two antennas. One for the sat nav unit, and one for the TMC unit, the TMC antenna is not in the pic though.

That bit on the right in the pic is the TMC reciever. Its probably what you have under your seat.

Cheers Liam. Ive found a good diagram on the VDO website. It shows what the cables have to be connected to. I think its over my head and Ill probably have to get it installed professionally. Do halfrauds install this type of thing? Or only stuff that you buy direct from them...

That would be great Liam. It basically the same system, the screen is a bit different, and i have a remote instead of the controls on the dash. Its the wiring mostly thats confusing the hell out of me.

Well i just bought one from ebay. For what I think was a very good price.. ~£400 delivered. This was the unit, screen, cables and UK Disk. Im probably going to have to get someone to install it for me, but i was wondering if ther was anyone else here who had the same system, and...
