Have got the same, never given me one problem and have had it 6 months, even got the aerial to extend the wireless (looks like a f-kin miniTV mast!!!) Also got the wireless print server, that took soemseting up as instructions where naff and I stumbled upon setings by accident!!

That looks like a great laptop for the price! Will be after one for my niece soon but she's only 6 so won't need one as high a spec, unless of course I want to borrow it ;)

Look under network connections, is your wireless connection on on the laptop?? Xlick Start then Settings, then Network connections, plus like ben said!! Plus there may be a blue light on the laptop when wirless is on, whats the usual thing when someone buys something new?? thats right RTFM!!!!! ;)

Come to wash car today and noticed black dots of what I hope is tree sap, washed car with warm water but it didn't remove it, any suggestions as to what I can use to get rid??? Ended up with just a wash and shammy today as I don't want to wax while this stuff is still on, Cheers

Had the same problem mate, unless you get an early version of Nero 6 you'll get the same message. If you open the program click the edit tab the preferences tab, then the file I/O tab, untick then "enable burning with nero" tick box. Then I use CloneDVD to burn the saved file.

It all depends what he wants, does he want something he can work on himself and upgrade later?? If not sure a pc world sourced pc will be ok for him
