Best Thing For Removing Tree Sap??

Come to wash car today and noticed black dots of what I hope is tree sap, washed car with warm water but it didn't remove it, any suggestions as to what I can use to get rid??? Ended up with just a wash and shammy today as I don't want to wax while this stuff is still on,

I use AG Motorcycle cleaner or clay depending on what time scale I have.
