Just looking for a spec to compare.

Not really as thats not the question I asked, just wondering by experience how the 2 cars compare, just like threads about 172 vs ctr!!

Shouldnt do if it has been well looked after.

Dont know how mine will compare to the GTT as mine will be heavier, but maybe better at putting the power down than the GTT.

I asked a simple question, I have never driven a 172 and so didnt know what the comparison was like, thought maybe being a 2.0 after 80 it would have an advantage over the GTT.

Just wondering thats all ;)

I am reckoning that a slightly modded GTT would be quicker than a 172 to a 100, any one had a run in with a GTT?

You have to have an exterior way of opening the car, not just of the alarm fob, so you need a button under your mirrors, boot doesnt count though, just the 2 front doors.

Might have to pay a visit to essex then!

Mynheer are a bit ropey to be honest, the front bumper is not designed too well as its awkward to open the bonnet all the way, dont know about the actual quality of the stuff, but when I saw Pazs clio from fastcar last year it didnt seem to be the best.

They quoted me huge amounts of money to do the work I wanted on mine think it was about 4k!! + Parts!!

All I have heard is bad things about Dawsons to be honest, but if you do see some of the cars they have done they do look mint, also they sold me a dodgy bumper claiming to have fitted it to clios before but I was informed by K-Tec that was bollox!!
