That looks like Rods car, I bought his old back box from him. Id seriously considering running it with NF Octane booster if you want the full experience. I find my car runs even better with a touch of NF in it, PM me for the email address of my supplier.
The first mod you should consider is...
As Ive said on the PM, if you have to ask about running costs its maybe not for you.
As for the Type-R/P1 debate its horse for courses really. The DCCD robs you of ABS and isnt something you can really exploit on the public roads. The suspension is a lot stiffer than the P1 so can be hard to...
Cant beleive its going to be 45KG heavier than the CTR, should still be quick though. I like the look of it too, unusual for a new model.
Is anyone going to run a book on how long it will take for the Cup/Trophy versions to come out?
They are the same as the Recaros in my P1 also the Accord Type-R and various EVOs have used the same seat. Someone also compared them to the original RenaultSport seat....LOL!

First thing Id do is try to get on a group buy and return the alloys back to standard, they look far better, espescially in 18s!
I agree with Boss, should have got it checked out when the engine started rattling. Whatever you do dont tell Renault you ignored it, theyll do anything to get out of a warranty claim!!
"I was the guy driving the 205 and its far from a racing car. Infact its a 1.9gti which has been stripped thats fair to say. It still has the original engine and puts out around 130bhp if im lucky. It has koni adjustable suspension which is 12 years old. It runs standard disks with slightly...
Dont see the problem my self, the guy that bought the V6 from Lloyds, wrote it off in France, cant remember his name.
He got 3/4K off the list price and they put him(the buyer) and the dealer in touch with each other so he could check the progress of his car, Motorlogix do the same thing...
Motorlogix are well respected and Im sure someone from here has bought from them before.
Lloyds also act as a broker and Im sure someone else has bought from them as well. Both of these companies will put you in contact with the dealer to arrange collection.
Thousands of people deal with...
Id let someone else pay for the depreciation and buy a low mileage example, failing that go through a broker(read - not importer!).

Listen, a 172 with a good engine in it will be slower (on the road/track/strip) than a 172 Cup the same standard of engine. The same is true of the 182/182 Cup. The engine, and the car as a whole, varies in quality and power output, that will make a bigger difference than 20KG either way.
