The plastics used by Renault are cheap, hard, brittle crap. The fuse box clip came off in my brothers hand with very little provocation, damn sure we aint paying for another one!

The 172/Cup werent built to order for the entire run, there are still a lot of unsold Cups and 172s kicking about, dont see the 182 being any different!

With 190/195bhp, the Cupra will only be as fast as a good 172 - thats a fact!! The 172 will piss all over the Cupra for handling, hence is a lot more fun to drive - thats a fact. Overall the 172 walks it, but its up to you I spose, if we all drove the same car it would be a boring world!

Having driven both, if I had to chop the P1 in tomorrow, Id be on the hunt for one of these pre-registered Cups. With the money Id save Id kit it out with some Recaro/Cobra seats(£800) and swap over my Alpine MP3 HU!! You would then have, IMHO, the best new hot hatch money can buy at this time!!
