I'm also looking to buy a new DSLR camera and it's a minefield! Nikon or Canon seem to be the hot favorites. Then there's which model. D40, D40X D50, D60, D70 D80 D200 or D300 and that's just the Nikon's. Then there are the lenses. I feel like my head is going to explode with all the...
I know my picture is very boring (#6):( but I was trying to think outside of the box. The clock has a face and hands, which are both body parts. Oh well, better luck for me next time. :o

Took my wife to Longleat for the second time in two years.
Had a great day out, weather could have been better but we did join Ben and Kate on one of the half mile lake boats, along with the camera crew. Kate was captain and Ben was doing the commentry.
Here are a couple of photos from the...
This might seem a bit pompous but I do appreciate the time and trouble that UKASKEW has taken to run this fun competition. Nobody ASKED him to do it, he just did, so be grateful. The rules were clearly stated at the start and have been repeated many times. Just abide by the rules, stop slagging...
This will be my ENTRY
There are some great shots on here for this competition. This is the best i could come up with. Good luck to everyone who has entered.
Bob
I have taken a couple of macro/close up shots at Goodnestone Park near Ash, Kent on Monday.
I have some more ideas up my sleeve, so I will post my final entry on Saturday.
Comments on what i have done so far are most welcome.
I don't own a decent camera or a dedicated macro lens! I wish!!!
I couldn't believe andywright182 was going to submit the sheep instead of the trains. So glad he changed his entry. Gets my vote.
Well done mate. Excellent photograph and spot on with the theme of the challenge.
Looks like quite a few of us had the same idea!
I will have another go at something else tomorrow, or I will just select this as my entry. I will post again tomorrow evening.
Just for the record, 11 for me.
EDIT....
Looks like I am returning a favour. I had no idea Andi had voted for my entry when i voted for his! Honest! Just reveiwed and saw what had happened!
I have been out and about trying to get some good cloud shots. Didn't realise just how hard it is to get it right!!!!! I have taken these straight off the camera with no jiggery pokery! I seem to lose a lot of clarity when i down size the images, is this normal or am I doing something wrong...
I agree, all photos are really good entries but none are exactly what PlanetX laid down in his challenge. I am still thinking about it. Will vote before the deadline. :S
It was a difficult challenge, one to which I was unable to rise to due to other things going on. It is also hard to decide which photo fits the remit but as it's a photography competition as well, I have voted for 5 as it is by far the best of the bunch. Well done to everyone who took the time a...
Just found these examples from a illusion website.
Stare at the 2 images and go cross eyed until you see a new 3rd image in the centre. Concentrate on this image to see it in 3D.
Once you have mastered the viewing technique, you will be impressed. The tree with the blue pin (1st one) is...
