looking really good mate. i was lucky i didnt have too many problems with seized bolts on my engine - but it was from a newer ph3. the car however...talk about making bolts from cheese!
fair play then. do you get any consideration as she braked hard to avoid something? or will they still pile on the blame to you? shame if it happened the way you said it did.
as everyone else said hope it gets righted properly and with the first effort!
haha yes post was for cost of recon however there is some useful info in your post (as usual) so cheers

you must have a unlucky car mate which is a shame, as with anything - if its well maintained it ill last its years - obviously with a car you dont know how the previous owner treated it.
looking really nice! if you need any plastic trim clips (except for the moulding ones) pm me as i have loads of new ones spare so i might have some you need.

1st gear is being a bit of a pain + the diff is starting to whine a bit so called reno to see how much a new one is..... 2k a bit more than that but 2k!
i think ill just get a second hand one and have it reconditioned - does anyone know what the going rate is for this?
thanks!
also i ordered the parts from reno - plastic sleeve that goes in gbox, sleeve for the cable and also a pin of some sort...whats the pin for? cant work out its application
On my hybrid... Speedo wasn't working replaced the sleeve on the speedo cable and now it is working but the speedo response is very slow and it is inaccurate. also when the car is off the speedo doesnt return to 0 any ideas? thanks
