sorted it now. what it is is i was installing 2 VGA faceplates - one in a floor box and one in the wall, obviously only one will be used at a time so i have gone for a VGA splitter. Cheers for all the help! Jonni

573 is low strength sealant iirc. get a good flange to flange sealant. put some on both faces of the stat where it sits may be easier to smear it on the housing instead, then put on both the flange faces and do up tight. GSF do some which is good - used it many a time with no issues on...

i have a proper mk1 ph1 and id be ashamed if it looked like that. when are you putting that redtop in it? would go well with that "exhurst" you nicked off a skyline! seriously tho why the hell did you take your car to a shop that cant spell exhausts!
