I had a set of golds, the rear springs collapsed twice! Even when they werent broken, they seemed horrible. The ratio between compression and rebound seemed way out, too much damping on the compression and not enough on the rebound, so crashy on bumps them bouncy on the way back up.

Swapping to 205-50's will make a difference too.

J, I've got those exact harnesses, they can be wrapped round the bar with no problem. Be warned though, they have a specific way of being threaded through the buckle that will make mensa seem like the sun crossword!

I had something similar to this, it turned out to be the ht leads which were shorting onto the engine.

I know what you mean about the stands, I got some good stuff from the f1 at Abu Dhabi. I had to keep both eyes open though to try to track tha cars and frame the shot at the same time!

I think it may be thicker on a 182, but that would just make the car more understeery.

I'm pretty sure jc5-089 is a ph1 and jc5-129 is a cup, either will do.

Fair enough, I've no idea how the settings work on those. But as above, tripod, long exposure and large aperature are all your friends.

There's a cup being broken on here at the moment, but you'll need to join to get into the sales section. failing that, ebay or breakers yards, but you can't be sure it wont need replacing in another 5k **just had a look, the box has gone on that one anyway**

Yeah, that was just to show how the spring should be seated. As Danny's saying, it sounds as if you have the wrong springs for the kit!! I'm not helping posting race springs, but the egg springs should seat the same.

I mean on the picture you've posted, the spring should be sat on the "brim" with the narrower section inside it.

The spring is sat on the top of the adjuster? It's not got the little top hat part inside it?
