i never cleaned my discs when i changed them and they were fine. Could there be the possibility that air got into the brake line? could also try what james said and just wear the brakes in

thats not actually a bad idea mate, may have to look into doing that, isn't getting the bearing out pretty simple job? take brake pads and discs off, disconnect driveshaft and then take out the bearings? Also if i was to attempt the wishbone am i right in assuming these are all the parts i need...

cheers for your help evs, turns out i did have them the right way round the engine just needed a bit of persuading to start up lol, fires up first time every time now :) i just now have to get the 2 front wheel bearings replaced then i can drive it lol.

I would reccomend these autoglym Muc-off - I know muc-off is ment for bikes but it is some seriously good stuff
