It might be worth you going into halfords and testing out the speakers there and decidig which ones sound best to you

i never cleaned my discs when i changed them and they were fine. Could there be the possibility that air got into the brake line? could also try what james said and just wear the brakes in
thats not actually a bad idea mate, may have to look into doing that, isn't getting the bearing out pretty simple job? take brake pads and discs off, disconnect driveshaft and then take out the bearings?
Also if i was to attempt the wishbone am i right in assuming these are all the parts i need...
cheers for your help evs, turns out i did have them the right way round the engine just needed a bit of persuading to start up lol, fires up first time every time now :) i just now have to get the 2 front wheel bearings replaced then i can drive it lol.
this is how i curremtly have the leads in, it sounds like it wants to fire up but doesn't
do the spark plugs have to go in in a certain order?
as you can see from the pic (going left to right) i have ignition coil 1 to spark plug 1, ignition coil 2 to spark plug 4, ignition coil 3 to spark...
I'm gonna sound like a plonker, I changed my spark plugs and took the leads out without looking at which spark plug they go to.
Can anyone tell me what order they need to go in please? Cheers

Ok so i was out today and my wheel bearings decided to go, some very loud noises and a painful drive home :( i was just wondering how hard is it to replace these and the suspension arm, one of my mates said he can do it at his garage for £150 but his garage is about 15 miles away and part of it...
Silvertek bulbs from halfords are £10, On ebay are about £9 delivered
I think i would rather go halfords and get them there and then rather wait for them to be delivered
Just to give you an idea i've had my mk2 ph1 for just short of 2 years now and the only things i've had to change due to faults are 1 coil pack and the tdc sensor, total cost of about £40
