To make double sure swap the dodgy injector to another cylinder and do the same check if the problem moves with the injector then its only the injector and not the loom. new injector was around £90 iirc, well worth getting the others checked and ultrasonically cleaned.

I'm talking about the square electrical plugs on the injectors them selves. remove the fuel rail and you'll see them.

Pull the injector plugs off one by one and the engine should die a little if the injector is working or you can whip out the injectors and take them to a specialist injector workshop who can test them for you.

Do the test and then check the wires in the loom also maybe a broken wire if the injectors are spraying good. My car started miss firing only at higher revs but then did it all the time. Could maybe the crank sensor/wires too worth checking anyway

It's your injectors mate, I had same problem and found one dead injector i then got the rest cleaned and tested. disconnect the injector plugs one by one, if it dies a bit then that injector is ok if there's no change then thats the knackered one.

Check your Injectors mate!. Sounds like a problem i had last year and turned out to be a dud injector, i got the rest ultrasonically cleaned and checked and it been fine since.

I always do check torques and they still came loose after about 20 laps. I can't believe i'd have to check them every few laps or so during a Trackday surely, I'm not even doing a race distance during a TD so this is why i'm concerned. Cheers for the comments so far though.
