You'd be in with the Fast 205 and Corsa in B2 class you saw at Fintry or maybe the 2 fiesta's running Zetec's in C0 class. You'll need a full cage and safety cut off for both those classes but you do get to run slicks if you want!!.
Here's a link to all registered cars for 2011...
Well after fitting my new Gripper diff'd box it was immediately apparent something was wrong with it as it was popping out of gear in 3rd and 4th, So after driving most of the first Hillclimb at Doune in Stirlingshire one handed i decided it was going to have to come out again for an inspection...
Its Doune hillclimb beside Stirling in scotland, I was competeing the same as day Lee filmed this and got a PB of 54:99sec run.

Ah I can breath again just!!
Let the slagging commence.
Oh dear, it's strange as it seem to be running fine and like I said doesn't feel like it's down on power.
So what's causing the low readings? Is it new engine time?
Does it matter if the engine is cold when I tested it?
Long story short I managed to over rev my engine when I selected 1st instead of 3rd ( don't ask). I'm not sure why but now the car seems to be missing very slightly, It idles fine and still runs good but just feels like there's a slight missfire now.
Anyone had this before/know what it could...
Yeah I was really chuffed with my times. Sadly I was having other gearbox issues due to it popping out of third all bloody day so I ended up driving one handed for most of it.
I've just used my Gripper diff'd car for the first time last weekend in a Hillclimb, i have to say on the road you done feel the difference too much but when i was competing at the weekend the difference was night and day over the standard box. The car pulls so well out of corners now.
I also...
Another small update. Got the new Alloy radiator in which gives more clearance for the throttle bodies, also got some new coolant hoses on while i was at it.
Old Rad.
New setup.
After my last Trackscotland Trackday where i had some tuition the instructor gave me some good advice on my...
Hey foilks,
I remember reading a guide thread somewhere that shows the step by step guide with pics of a 172 box rebuild, I've done a search but can't seem to find it. Doe's anyone have some they can post on here?.
I'm wondering if its possible to change the detent for 3rd gear without...
Bit of an update for you.
I got a gripper diffed gearbox fitted to the Clio this week but i'm not convinced its ok as its making a really loud clicking noise with lock on it. The box came out of a rally car and is set to run with only one shaft incase of shaft failure so the pre load is quite...
I know this has been covered a million times but i'm looking into this again as i had a set of their old studs fitted which came loose on a trackday, There where a few f**k up factors on my part but one of the studs did snap so i need to sort the problem once and for all.
I'm looking at the...
Can someone tell me what the size of the little fitting is on the underside of the inlet manifold for the brake vacuum hose is, I'm needing the thread size type and the hose od?.
I would measure my own but there's the small matter of being 3000 miles away from the car and i need to have the...
You need glasses mate, He said he's picking his car up on Sunday and not yesterday as he'd hoped!.
The rolling road is good for other things such as how well the car is running ie fuel air ratios etc so ask the operator as much daft questions as you can don't just get hung up on the power readings.
