its a second hand box and the final drive is already fitted, I know what you mean re 1st gear but most of the hills i'm doing are all 3rd gear max and i find i'm changing up and down a bit too much as 3rd is not enough and 2nd is too much if you know what i mean so i'm hoping that i'll get into...
Yeah that bit is mental steep!
Blue book states you can remove carpets, i think its the only thing you can remove trim wise.
I'd have been disputing that one.
I'm in the process of buying a new box with gripper diff fitted and 5:1 final drive should scream up the hills with that fitted.
Well did my second sprint in May and what a day!. First of all i was late arriving as my alarm was still on Ghana time, Then went to get the car off the trailer to find some tee leaf had stolen a ramp.
The cars just back from getting a new timing belt and dephaser pulley fitted and the...
Heres mine OMP 330mm. Its has a great feel and is the perfect size for me, I use gloves most of the time as i compete in it but even then its going shiney but you do get so much more grip and feel with the seude its worth it
even in an ITB'd clio?, I thought and have read that the higher the octane level the better the performance, Some of that Tesco stuff has been tested before and found to be 102ron:eek:.
I always run Tesco 99 or V power in both my Clio and R32 as they seem to run a lot better with it.
Could someone do these wheels in some different colours, Red,green, yellow,RB blue or any others you can think of.
Got another set of willies coming for my soft R888's that need a refurb.
or this pic (not spinning though)
I feel for you mate it f**king boils my piss when i see someones pride and joy mullered by some r****d thief.
We've been having problems of late with retards scoping out the place looking for keys and their taking a real shine to the R32 which won't fit in my puny Barratt garage:mad:.
I recently found out i have a ph2 engine in my ph1 one difference is the timing belt kits are different the idler pulleys have spacers on the ph2.
Isn't only the throttle body you need to change for the cable operation as the inlets are different on ph1 and ph2.
I have the Ktec/Omex/Jenvey kit on my Ph 1 172 and its turned the car into a beast,Its far far more responsive now. I'm now running a map i bought from Andy at Ktec and the car made 210bhp on the RR the other month with comments from the mapper who did the RR that its running good with nice...
You can use the brackets from a 1.8L Laguna and save a wee bi there and yes you can bend/manipulate the PAS pipe but be careful not to break them.
I did it on mine and its working fine.
Get the timing chains checked, My mates 53 plate 54k R32 has just snapped its chains causing major damage.
Get VW dealer to do it so if they go you have some come back.
Awesome machines though i had a Grey Mk4 and now we have the Mk5 R32.
