hi my clio 172 52 plate needs inner track rods and steering rack bushes. i rang my local renault dealer and euro car parts they both asked what steering rack is fitted. smi or trw. i had a look at my rack but unable to see any numbers or writing on my steering rack can ne 1 help? cheerz

have u checked top engine mount. i had same issue was top mount knackerd

iirc all 172 182 are 3.5 bar

i not that bad to do u need back seat up,remove cover disconnect wiring and fuel pipe. using a hammer and screwdriver knock the plastic ring round anticlockwise. and undo by hand. replace complete unit watch out 4 seal wen un refit. screw plastic ring bk on take ur time not to cross thread it...

i had this problem i changed my fuel pump sender unit second hand from ren parts was unsure if it wud cure it. but it has runs so much better also. if it goes again will buy a new 1

if reg doesnt go in to icm on renault net it will b import

i have been told it has a fuel pressure reg in the tank.also if i leave vehicle for bout 10 to 12 hours will not start first time

hi all. long story short iv had a ongoin problem i nw believe itz my fuel pressure reg at fault guna check fuel pressure tomora. can ne1 tell me what pressure shud it be at?.also can u buy the reg seperate or is it a full pump/sender unit?

replaced oxygen sensor all gooood!

just plugged it in come up wiv upstream oxygen sensor guna fit 1 dis afternoon

i have developed a misfire starts from cold with ruff tickover but i now this is normal. but around 1500 - 2000 rpm it misifires badly and also struggles to start sometimes. It will start then cought and cut out but will restart fine. its ok if i floor it. it misfires when cruising at 30mph or...

does airbag light operate with ignition turned on. I have had people damage instrument panel to remove airbag light and not realised serv still illuminates.

Hi help please i have recently lowered my car 40mm but i have noticed when i jack the back end up the springs fall out. Is there any shorter shockers available. I have ask a few aftermarket car part places but no joy. cheers
