My traction control and service lights stayed on for approx 3 months.... think the bulbs ran out as they're not on now :p

I had this problem at work, and the IT bloke said that if I turn it on and keep pressing F12 it will boot up, it did... I don't know if he just said something random but it worked. If that doesn't work he told me to press F8 which apparently runs the computer in safe mode.
