pretty sure a dodgy wheel bearing would affect its ability to brake in a straight line. Its more of a chirp/moan.

Went out to the Bucks meet last night, and James (iirc) diagnosed the problem as a bad wheel bearing. So at lunchtime I got the car jacked up and rocked the back wheel, there was lots of movement. Trying to keep up witht the guys last night through the twisties, I thought I was going to die...

+1 I've done this before. Except at a slower speed. Only a scratch on mine, over 400 quids worth of damage on my mates. Have you got any quotes yet?

A lot... I took it down southend on a Saturday night, so there was an incredible amount of chavs, tbf, my car fit right in. I had my mate with e in the passenger seat, he was hiding the whole time we were there. Good times.

Paint came off, only ever so slightly stained by the pink paint. But not really noticeable. It got part exchanged for the clio in the end. It was knackered though, needed new gearbox, clutch and steering rack.

It was a good idea at the time. I thought Early Learning Centre paint would be a good choice, but where it got hot on the bonnet, it decided to stay... meguiars paint restorer and 2 o clock in the morning seemed to do the job in the end.
