No but I am guessing you are saying this due to the pics? I dont have a clue why every Mk1 I ever takes pics of looks like the front end is a totally different colour :S Only thing I can think is the angle of the panels/light. It does not look like this in the "flesh".
I am thinking that since...
Grill got broken soon after I bought the car :(
Standard exhaust FTW! Hate anything too loud. Why do you say raise the rear?
It is running 16v box etc, just 172 engine. It is all in very good condition though! The price is something I am really trying to work out right now :S
Gave it a clean last week so took a few pics the other day in anticipation of selling it :dapprove:
Excuse the "sport" badge, still havnt got around to removing it after previous owner put it on there :o (I suppose at least it is an F4R now!)
Post up links (high res where possible) to your desktop backgrounds. Im looking for something new!
I remember seeing an awesome picture of a porsche spitting our flames somewhere before (waitey?) I would love a link to that!
My current background is my old hybrid:
Ok, I just took some measurements
From the hub face to the front (face of the wheel) is 70mm, from the hub face to the inside (hidden side) rim of the wheel is 140mm and the ditance from front to back rim is 210mm
Can someone please tell me the ET? Im confused! :o
Bad weekend, on the way to Birmingham on the M40 my backbox decided to crack at the weld and drop off, this couple with a straight through exhaust made for a VERY loud trip back today and my ears are no very sore :(
Does the heatshield go on the front of the starter or between the starter and the block?! I have mine between the starter and the block, is mine wrong? lol
DO IT! Mk1's are a Great learning curve ;)
"forum friends!" (inbetweeners reference) I'm sure I could spare the odd weekend to get you going! I think to this date I hold the record for F7P to F4R conversion, wednesday morning to friday afternoon ;)
(credit due to all the guys who went...
Havnt really got an answer for you but 1 of my cars used to do this exact same thing, was worse on cold mornings, after 100 metres of kangarooing it was spot on until the engine got cold again!
I always suspected the Lambda, which would get hot very quickly and maybe "cure" the issue.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
Hi mate, is that oil pressure sender off the Mk1? If so where is it located? Also any details on the t piece? I have a pirtek dealer right near the workshop I use so can pop in there.
Any idea how I get the Mk1 oil temp gauge working?
Cheers
Re: Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project
Any details on what I need to get them running? I have already fitted (not wired in though) the Mk1 oil level gauge but I need the pressure and temp sorting.
