yeah i had the same problem, i cut some sponge and put it at the back of the head unit. Now it fine, however i did leave some space so any heat can escape.

i have the same problem mate, and its only happend since i put my new backbox on, was thinking of adding a cold air feed, let my know how u get on plz ;)

i have just had a sports back box put on my 96 1.4 rt clio, after about an hours driving the engine seams to be very very hot,
you now the dial where the needle is ment to be in between the two marks, it always was for hours before the exhausts, but now it goes past the two makes,
any ideas...
