cheers man :) haha didnt really know that but it does make sense. Its going good so far mate and im enjoying the fact that its alot more hands on now im in 3rd year. Still got a long way to go but student life isnt so bad haha. What did you specialise in btw mate?
Aye there are loads out...
cheers mate. haha not the cheapest wiper blades you can buy and i dont think they are gonna fit themselves unfortunatly lol. Although for that sort of money you could probably pay for a normal set and pay for someone to come to your door and fit them for you and still have some money left over lol.
Yeh defo. everyone that has them seems to rate them highly. Usually wheels and coilovers are what people start changing first but all depends on the person really. Have you looked at any yet?
Havent fitted them yet mate. Ever since starting uni i have been completely swamped and my next holiday is Christmas so looks like they will be fitted then unless i can free myself for a weekend. My mate just fitted his today though and he has been playing about with the dampening all day and...
Yup £75 mate. Spoon stuff always has crazy price tags. The spoon gear knob on its own is around £80, tein bonnet dampers were £125 and the list goes on. Its all these small(and admittedly expensive) things that make the difference imo. If money was going to get in the way then i wouldnt have...
cheers bjorn. Never really sat down and counted the cost so far but i think if i did then im gonna be in for a scare thats for sure lol. Still got a few things to do before im completely happy but considering i have only had it for around around 5 months ago, im happy with where it is at, at the...
lol no money tree here turkish just hard earned cash. To be honest with most of this stuff you never actually loose money on it so its almost like an investment. Well thats what i keep saying to myself anyway lol
looks like you did a good job ali. car looks cracking aswell and im a big fan of yellow on yellow. Was this not the one that got nicked earlier on in the year?
hey dave sorry tried to find that website but had no luck. Will have a look at my statements to see if i can get a name for you.
Update:
This is the new run around civic i bought about a month ago. Great little runner, reasonably comfy and very economical. I stay near the hospital so it only...
Mats were bought from a website that makes custom mats. will try to dig out the name of the site for you.
The first set of tyres on the regamasters were Bridgestone RE01, which were 185/55/15. These were then swapped for Toyo t1r's with a 50 profile as you will see in the more recent pictures...
Thanks again for the comments lads.
Gally brakes are completely stock with the exception of yellow stuff pads mate. Have no complaints about the brakes for a street car, however im not sure how they would hold up on track. The porsche calipers i had would have been the ultimate set up with a...
cheers mate. Aye the lad that bought it and his pals that came through to have a look at the clio were nice guys. Felt weird handing over the keys to someone else though but i have had my fun in and i hope he enjoys it as much as i have.
Been a while since i updated the thread. Progress has slowed down as i have had to move away for uni. Only get some weekends off where i can come home and work on it. Its off the road now for the winter and iv just bought myself a completely standard civic as a runaround. Its nothing special but...
