Ive heard they are not very good when it comes to correspondence and there website only show parts for 1.4, 16v, and williams but I know some people have stuff for their 172s so I was just wondering as they are quite close to me?

I think it for bringing the gear from the engine into synch with the gear to the wheels. The reverse doesnt have one thats why you have to let the engine revs go down to get in in!
I had this toyota pick up following me last night, It tried to over take so I booted it, I was already in 5th but he still couldnt pass me. He eventually caught me up in traffic and the firms name on the side was Skyline ! Made me laugh as I toasted a Skyline in a 1.2 ;-)
